Big Milestone Achieved: MVP Assembly Completed!

We are thrilled to share with you that we have reached a major milestone in our journey! The assembly of our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) has finally been completed! It's been a long and challenging journey, but we are proud of what we have accomplished so far. Building a 3D printer is no easy feat. From the intricate systems to the technical challenges that arise at every step, it requires an immense amount of dedication and hard work. But through it all, we persevered, and we were able to overcome every obstacle we faced. And we know that these learnings will form the foundation for building a commercial-grade printer that will deliver outstanding results to our customers.

Our next two steps are:

  1. Ensuring the control software is updated to work with our hardware. This has started and some updates need to be made to the software but we are in constant contact with the software company to ensure it is completed soon.

  2. Testing of laser input parameters for our benchmark material. Design of Experiments performed will test the input parameters which we hypothesize will work for the material we have chosen. Variations coming from the thermal profile of the printer are the major elements we are aiming to validate.

We are excited to take the next steps in our journey and can't wait to share our progress with you. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to innovate and push the boundaries of what's possible with metal 3D printing. And as always, your feedback is important to us, so don't hesitate to share your thoughts and insights with us. Reach out to us at team@3dktech.com.
