3D printed Compressor
This case study was done to show how our technology compares to that of our competitors in speed, carbon footprint, and cost. Additively manufacturing a compressor requires two prints, 16 compressor blades and one rotor. We gathered data from ourselves and our competitors in printing with stainless steel 316L and Ti6A4 Titanium. Our analysis allowed us to grasp how beneficial our ultrasonic SLM technology is.
